Comment: the Trinity Parish Church is built on Oliver Burch’s former land. Trinity Parish was created in 1744 out of those portions of King and Queen Parish and of All Faiths Parish that were in Charles Co.

Vol 3 p.1: Apr 1699 Chas Co MD Court. William Hunter presents his servant Oliver Burke (sic) who is adjudged to be 13 years of age (so b. ca. 1686) (Source: Charles Co, MD Court and Land Records, Liber X p. 45. Comment: I would assume that the surname “Burke” is correct but the name similarity, location and date suggest the possibility that this boy is a previously unknown son of Oliver and Barbara who died young.
