Pg 39: Bennett. It is probable that Bennett, wife of Obadiah was Bennett Ellis d/o John Ellis & his wife Elizabeth Freeman d/o Edmund Freeman. The Ellis family were of Sandwich where Obadiah spent his youth. Bennett Ellis ... had a brother Joel Ellis. Note that Obadiah (Eddy) named a son Joel. Obadiah during the rest of his life had many dealings with the Ellis family and a Joel Ellis witnessed the codicil to his will.82988
