Pg 165-166 Biographies of the Adventurers, Thomas Allen was one of the retainers of Leonard Calvert in 1633, and for whom he claimed land rights in 1641. He has generally been accepted as the Thomas Allen who died testate in 1648, leaving three orphan boys, but circumstances indicate clearly that this Thomas Allen was one of Clayborne’s men on Kent.
