Jacob Gum of Suss Co tanner, Isaac Hardy of Worchester Co MD and Martha his wife & Hananah Gum of Suss Co spinster for 10 pounds sold to Samuel Grove of Suss Co cooper ... a 500 a. tr of land in Broadkill Hund which by virtue of a warrant was surveyed to a certain Thomas Moulston 4 Mar 1681, 100 a. of which the said Thomas Moulson conveyed to a certain Roger Gum, and Roger Gum who decd not having sufficiency of personals to satisfye (sic) his just debts, William Clark adminr of his estate by virtue of an order of the Orphans Court sold the 100 a. unto a certain William Smith, and he conveyed the same unto John Gum grandfather of the afsd Jacob Gum, Martha w/o Isaac Hardy and Hannah Gum, and Abraham Gum son of said John Gum dying intestate the 100 a. decended unto the said Jacob, Martha & Hannah ... adj. land of Hermanus Wiltbank decd now in possession of John Heverlo & Hannah his wife ... the grantors constitute Daniel Nunez Junr esqr their atty to ackn this deed in open court.
