In Apr 1194 he was in England again … and in 1195 drove the sons of Cadwallon out of Maelienydd; but next year Rys (ap Gruffydd), Prince of South Wales, defeated a well-equipped force of cavalry and foot under Mortimer, with much slaughter, near Radnor.”
