Pg 272 11 Henry De Percy, Knt, K.G., 4th Lord Percy. He was brought up in the King’s court by his uncle, the 1st Duke of Lancaster. He was summoned to Parliament on 1 Dec 1376 and was created Earl of Northumberland 16 Jul 1377. In 1405 he was involved in treasonable plots and was attainted in Parliament in 1406. Henry de Percy, 1st Earl of Northumberland, was slain 19 Feb 1407/8 when his force was defeated at Bramham Moor, near Tadcaster, co York.

Henry de Percy, Lord Percy; created Earl of Northumberland 16 Jul 1371 (age c 36); while leading a rebellion against Henry IV he was slain at the battle of Brabham Moor 19 Feb 1408 (age 67); his head was set up on London Bridge and his quarters at London, Lincoln, Berwick & Newcastle.
