In the visitation of London 1633-35 (Harleian Society; Visitation Vol. XV p.327) there is to be found the Pedigree of the Gorsuch family of Bishopsgate Ward, London, recorded in 1633 by Daniel Gorsuch of London3786

Daniel Gorsuch and his wife, Alice (Hall) Gorsuch, are entombed underneath a massive but beautiful marble monument, on the south side of the chancel in Walkern Church. This monument bears the following inscription: "Daniel Gorsner Ctizen and Mercer of London in Ye Month of July 1638 caused Ys Tombe To Be Made For Himself & His Wife Alice By Whom He Had Three Children John Katherine & Mary His Age Being Yn 69 Years 6 Months and Odd Dayes, Who Died The Wight Daye of October Ao DO 1638" (VMHB Vol.24, P.86)3786
