Be it remembered that I William Corbitt of the county of Bath and State of Virginia being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in grammer (sic) and form following that is to say, first I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Corbite my chest and all my clothing, my____ bed and bed clothing and also my waggon. I further give and devise to my son Samuel Corbite his heirs and assigns all my lands lying and being in the county of Agusty (sic) and Bath to hold to hiim the said Samuel Corbite his heirs and assigns forever, also my said son Samuel Corbite is to pay to my two daughters Sarah Corbite and Jane Corbite the sum of one hundred pounds each to be paid at the expiration of fifteen years from this date. If my said son Samuel Corbite should fail in paying to each of my daughters the sum above mentioned, the lands in all to be sould (sic) and the price of it equally divided between my three heirs my said daughter Jane Corbite is to have one years schooling before she is sixteen years of age at my said son Samuel Corbite's expense whom I hereby appoint sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me ______. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th day of November in the year of our Lord 1818. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named William Corbite to be his last will and testament in the presence of us through his request and at his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the same.

This last will and testament of William Corbit, dec'd was presented in court and proved by the oath of Samuel Corbit Senr and Samuel Corbit Jun, two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
