Whitley County Court August term 1824
The within last will and testament of Robert Creekmore was produced in court and proven by the oaths of Josiah Smith, William T. Meadows and John Jones & ordered to be recorded. Test. Hugh French, Clk.
•Note: The word d'sed following the name of John is barely understood. It may be that Robert and his son had a falling out of some kind, or having left home, and not heard of since, Robert did not know if his son was living. He was indeed living as his chapter will show.

The Creekmore Family92917
p.3 In 1790 Nash Co., NC, Robert Crickmon is listed with one male over 16, two males under 16, and 5 females (including his wife), twelve other persons and two slaves. (whom is the fifth female? am I missing one?)
p.4 In 1800 Nash Co., NC, Robert Crickmon and his wife Elizabeth are listed as age 26-45, 2 males 16-26, 2 females 10-16, 3 males under 10 and 2 females under 10. This would indicate that one child may have died. 5 other persons or slaves are also listed. (who is the other Male <10) and the second Male 16-26 because his son, David Creekmore is listed with his wife as 16-26? who is child that died?)
