Misc. Notes
(This is where the lineage as given in Ormerod disagrees with Burke, who makes this son John the next in the line instead of William. Ormerod says that this pedigree appears to be the first draft of a pedigree from deeds, and the compiler seems to have gotten into considerable confusion in consequence of this John having a son John. This lineage will continue from Ormerod and following will be a copy of lineage as given by Burke in the 1939 edition of the Landed Gentry. E. E. W.) 53735

On this Sir John Hyde was settled by Sir William Baggiley, in the 13th of Edward II, 1320, "the manor of Hyde" meaning most probably the other moiety of Hyde, which afterwards passed to the other sister, but he nevertheless obtained several estates by this marriage, and his sons John and Roger, by his 1st wife, are mentioned in the settlements of these estates 12th of Edward II and 31st of Edward III. 53735
