Rich’d Major of Queens Creek in VA, planter, sells Thomas Bowrren (Bourne?) of Chelscake, cooper, 25 ac on Western side of West Creek, adjoining land of Wm Barber. Signed Rich’d Major. Wit: Robt Booth, Rowland Burnham. “vera coia Mar. Johnson Cl Curia”. 1 Oct 1638. Thomas x Bourne assigns above 25 ac to Wm Barber of Chelscake, cooper. Signed his mark Tho B Bourne. Wit: Wm Hockeday

Richard Bennett Esqr, Governor, etc., to Mrs. Ann Harwood, 300 ac in the County of Charles River, N upon Uties Creek E upon the Glebe land, S upon land of Capt Robt Fellgate and W by S into the woods. The land due to said Harwood as follows: it being formerly granted to John Wayne 10 Jul 1638, and by Wayne assigned to Robt Booth, and by Booth to Capt Stephen Gill, and purchased from Gill by Capt Thomas Harwood as appears by deposition of said Capt Gill and by order of the Quarter Court dated 13 Oct 1652.
