64688 On 14 Jan 1734/5 he (William Brown) bought a farm of Peter Ballou on Moshassuck River, now Saylesville. The house on this farm built by Peter Ballou abt 1714 is still standing. The brick portion of this house was, according to a deed in the possession of the writer, built by Eleazer Brown, son of William, after his father’s death.
The homestead of Eleazer Brown, erected at Adams, MA, in 1778 is now owned by an incorporated society of his descendants.

There will be a reunion o the descendants of Eleazer Brown of East Hoosuck … Home situated on upper Orchard street in Adams. .. An interesting coincidence is that this is the 150th anniversary of the birth of John Brown, son of Eleazer by in 1771 and considered the first male child born in East Hoosuck.
