To son, Thomas Ewing one third part of all my personal estate goods & chattels
To son Joshua Ewing one third part of all my personal estate goods & chattels
To my two brothers, Wm Ewing & David Jenkins, Guardians & Trustees for my two beloved sons Thomas & Joshua Ewing to receive their hands one third part of my temporal estate goods & chattels for my aforesaid son This Ewing use & benefit & one third part of the same for my aforesaid son Joshua Ewing & by them to be laid out & disposed of to the best advantage for my childrens use according to their direction until my children This & Joshua Ewing shall attain to the age of twenty one years. /s/ John Ewing (seal)
