p. 170, July 12, 1803: "Ordered that William Dinwiddie, Otho Wade, Abraham Gum and John Gum, or any three, to appraise estate of John Slaven, dec'd. "
p. 382, Feb. 11, 1806: "The last will and testament of Abraham Gum dec'd was produced in Court by John Gum and
Otho Wade, the executors named therein and proved by the oaths of
Otho Wade and Henry Slaven, witnesses thereunto and 0. R.
On the motion of said
Otho Wade and John Gum who made oaths according to law administration is granted them of the goods and chattels and credits of the estate of Abraham Gum dec'd on their giving security whereupon they together with Robert Given and Henry Slaven came into court and entered into and acknowledged their bond in the sum of 1500 dollars with conditions as the law directs which is 0. R.
Ordered that Wm. Dinwiddie, Stuart Slaven, Henry Slaven and
Otho Wade or any three of them appraise the estate. "
