Gum, 2nd Co F 25th VA Inf, O.B.A., Jun 11, 1861 at Hevener's Store. Muster roll Sep & Oct 1862, dated Nov 1, 1862, shows him deserted Camp Shenandoah, Apr 19, 1862, a Private. Musket lost.
